AMY GIGGEY
Founder & Co-CEO, VP of People
Amy’s career began in non-profit fundraising. Learning the art of connecting people with a mission and helping them find their place in creating impact was foundational to her career today. After completing her Masters in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University, Amy started at a fast-paced services firm, helping to grow the company from 25 contractors to over 50 employees who served a vast array of startup clients.
During the pandemic, Amy quit her job in 2021 along with 4.5 million other American workers in order to start her own firm, Talent to Team. Amy wanted to focus on working directly with entrepreneurs, and she saw numerous benefits of hiring fractional talent (like fractional CFOs and CMOs) instead of full-time or contract labor.
As a result, Talent to Team is a first-of-its-kind approach to HR where clients are assigned a top-tier VP of People and People Ops Manager, to act as their insourced team instead of outsourcing or using automated services. We become invested partners who support both the unique daily functions as well as the strategic implementation and evolution of our client’s talent strategy.
While growing her team and client list, Amy also earned her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainer certification from Yoga.Psyche.Soul school by Ashley Turner, and is currently taking a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainer course from Susanna Barkataki. Additionally, Amy is an Affiliate Teacher of the Right Use of Power Institute and has completed a certificate program for Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and attended the Embodied Social Justice Summit with the Embody Lab.
Amy uses trainings and learnings along with her Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute to provide a holistic and evolving approach about the human experience in the workplace to help her team and clients develop their talent.
