BONNIE SIMS

Bonnie is a strategic Human Resources and People executive with over 12 years of experience working with both VC-backed and bootstrapped start-up companies in various industries to build and strategize for growth while keeping company culture and employee engagement top of mind. 

 

Throughout her career, Bonnie has demonstrated an aptitude to successfully scale companies from a handful of employees to 500+, while simultaneously growing footprints nationwide. She is known for building Leadership teams and working with CEOs directly to develop personnel and compensation strategies that match the goals of the organization as well as career development programs to keep employees engaged and productive in both hybrid and fully remote environments. 

 

Prior to Talent to Team, Bonnie held Executive level positions at omni-channel retailers in the fashion and jewelry spaces. Her focus areas included executive leadership, building high-performing teams, and designing values driven cultures. She also thrived on building and growing successful People teams that serviced the business and all employees. Bonnie started her career in the technology and B2B spaces, where she perfected her skills in talent strategies, performance management, and learning & development. 

 

Bonnie is a Certified DiSC Facilitator with experience integrating DiSC into companies and utilizing it for management training and career development. She is also an active member of Austin Human Resources Management Association (AHRMA) as well as Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She also holds HR certifications as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). 

 

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Bonnie graduated Cum Laude from Texas State University. She is an avid runner, reader, and baker who currently resides in Buda with her husband and three children.
