Vanessa brings over 10 years of comprehensive experience in full-cycle recruitment, encompassing both agency and in-house roles. Most recently, she has collaborated with high-growth tech companies in Colorado, demonstrating her ability to attract, identify, and secure top talent for corporate functions, ranging from early-career to VP-level positions. Her expertise spans G&A and GTM functions, including roles in sales, marketing, customer success, HR, accounting, finance, legal, product, and tech. 

 

Her agency experience includes recruiting for a diverse clientele, from small startups to Fortune 100 companies, where she focused on digital, marketing, creative, and product roles.

Vanessa has a proven track record in partnering with finance, legal, and people operations teams to optimize headcount planning, budgeting, and compensation practices. Additionally, she has led impactful employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns. She has a passion for ensuring positive candidate experiences and ensuring smooth onboarding practices. Vanessa has also led interview training and led coaching, training, and onboarding sessions for new hires.  Before transitioning into talent acquisition, Vanessa held product management and creative roles with American Greetings, where she excelled in developing and executing effective product and content strategies for social expression products for retail.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, who are in 4th and 2nd grades. In her free time, she loves hiking, skiing, reading, and watching her daughters in theater, gymnastics, and tennis.
