Erika Thomas

Recruiter

Erika has over 7 years of full-cycle recruiting and human resources experience, nationwide. She has found her passion in helping both hiring managers and candidates alike, while engaging in collaborative problem solving as needed. She also has over 21 combined years of customer service, sales, hospitality, training and management experience.

Through her years of professional experience, Erika has developed a career in Talent Acquisition and HR, obtaining her SHRM-CP certification in 2025. She has proficient experience in strategizing headcount goals and other recruiting strategies, including SOP rollouts, campaigns and creating various tools such as scorecards, performance metric tracking, customized ATS and more; along with succession planning, high-volume recruiting from entry level to executive level roles, learning and development, sales management, customer relations, and more.

She has a passion for building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Erika has also created and led trainings for nation-wide recruitment strategies, and has led routine in-depth talent planning sessions, including 9 box evaluations. She has also led HR Engagement teams, creating and assisting with corporate engagement surveys, spearheading initiatives and new SOPs based on employee feedback, and organizing internal recognition programs. She enjoys tying her creative personality into problem-solving.

Erika is a bit of a chameleon in her interests, from pet training to photography, painting, writing, music, hiking, kayaking, gardening, cars and more! Originally born in Dunedin Florida, she grew up on the beach before moving to Los Angeles, CA, and now resides just outside of Asheville, NC with her husband and two dogs.
