For the past 4 years, Malissa has successfully enhanced people operations pillars, talent acquisition strategies, risk management, retention initiatives, and so much more across various industries (technology, real estate, beauty, and eCommerce).


Malissa is adept at policy design and implementation, employee handbook design, full cycle recruiting, including building onboarding processes from scratch and implementing HRIS workflow strategy to execution. Malissa is well versed in creating processes for efficient employee documentation and has experience managing a variety of sensitive situations, including unemployment claims, harassment claims, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions, while maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy protocols.


Malissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. As a resourceful and versatile HR professional, Malissa is passionate about serving others while building and fostering relationships between employees of all levels.


Malissa is from Austin, Texas, and enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants/cuisines, cooking, staying active, and spending time with her fiance and their pup, Millie!
